Lakeside Choir

The A Cappella Choir from Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills, WI, sang here at St. Peter on Sunday. They sang 8 songs in our regular morning services, two of which matched the two lessons for the fourth Sunday in Lent. I was told that it was a coincidence. They sang "The First Song of Isaiah" which is taken from Isaiah 12, the first lesson and sermon text. They also sang a song called "Coming Home" that is based on Jesus' parable of the prodigal son, which was the Gospel for this Sunday.

We managed to house all 56 students and it sounds like everyone had a good time. Modesto was their first stop on their tour of California, so we wish them God's blessings on the rest of their trip.
